Commitment To Training
Dedicated Training
Reynolds are part of the FORS (Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme) This is a highly regarded industry voluntary programme that demonstrates how a transport operator adheres to the highest standards of road safety.
The FORS accreditation fundamentally demonstrates your ongoing commitment to put safety at the forefront of your operations.
As a FORS Silver operator, all Reynolds drivers undertake the FORS Professional driver training courses and ongoing learning, which enable drivers with the skills they need to minimise carbon emissions in urban environments during their everyday routes.
This continuous training enables the whole team to become safer, smarter, and greener.
All our drivers undertake the FORS Safe Urban Driving course which gives them a practical experience of being the cyclist in an urban environment. This helps to increase their awareness of potential hazards and safe distances to maintain with pedestrians, cyclists, and other vehicles.
In addition to this, we also have our own RHA Driver assessor which enables us to provide ongoing support, training, and development to our team of drivers. Whether they be newly passed or in the industry for some time.
We believe that training is continuous, and we will always look for any areas which we can assist and develop. Individual and bespoke training for drivers on Coupling and Uncoupling and safe manoeuvring as well as Working Time and Drivers hours. Most of our office staff have completed their Transport CPC and are also qualified FORS practitioners. So training is fundamental throughout the business.
