Class 2 Tipper Drivers

We require Class 2 tipper drivers for a temp to perm position with our client at their depots in Derbys and South Notts.

Full training can be given on the tippers so if you fancy adding to your experience or fancy a change this is the ideal job.

Shifts are normally around 06.00-07.00 start daily Monday to Friday with no nights out

The role will be transporting aggregates and power plant recycling (non ADR)

Start date: ASAP

In order to apply you must possess the following:

• Full UK Licence with Cat C entitlement and a minimum of 2 years’ experience

• Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card

• Daily Guarantee: 8 hours per day

Duties and responsibilities will include;

• Delivering in a safe manner complying with all relevant legal and company procedures

• Driving at all times in a safe and courteous manner

• Monitor and report wear and tear to vehicles

• Prevent and report damage

• Knowledge of regulations surrounding the working time directive and tachographs

• Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly

• Carry out start/end checks as per procedure

• Ensure vehicle loaded safely and correctly

• Basic level of numeracy and literacy, in order to complete work documentation

*Maximum of 3 points on licence due to insurance.

Refer another driver and we’ll pay £150 once they have completed 20 shifts.
